Primary bedroom has a King bed, while secondary bedroom has a tiered bunk with a Queen on the bottom and a full on the top. Primary bath has tub/shower with linen cabinet and Hall bath has shower only with linen closet. Hall bath also has direct access to secondary bedroom.
Outside you will find a picnic table and chairs. Below there is a gas grille and outside shower. We also offer 2 kayaks to use at your leisure. Appreciate your stay!
**We do welcome you and your family pets. We do have some home rules specific to dogs. Dogs MUST be home trained and kept within the property and/or on a leash at all times. If dogs go to the beach we ask they be hosed off and dryed prior to being let in the home as to cut down on sand inside. You must clean up (waste) behind your dog outside. Please keep dogs out of beds.**

How to find the best Hatteras vacation property experience:
Sticking to your rental home budget:
- In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
- Summertime is the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. To find the most suitable rental within budget, we recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a discount.
- Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for details.
- Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitors guide magazines which often include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
How to select the best vacation rental:
- Begin by selecting your the best vacation week and a budget.
- Decide how many beds and the configuration your family needs. Canal Front House - Hatteras- New Listing- Pet Friendly\nWith Amazing Views! has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally available on booking pages. If not, email the property owner before you book the rental. Note that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks.
- Some properties allow pets, but some do not. Acceptable types of pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional fees may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
- Visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby properties.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.
Considerations for your stay:
- Get the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home.
- Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
- Protect the property owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would at home.
- To make certain no damages are attributed to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the property manager right away to record any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
- Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud vacationers disrupting your peace and quiet. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would have never otherwise known!
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a wonderful vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
