When hunger arises, the well-equipped kitchen displays a pleasant space to play chef, or you can grab a delicious bite at one of the island's local eateries.

As you discover the rest of the home, you will quickly take notice of the equally inviting bedrooms, all cooled by central air-conditioning, and the additional laundry area.

Less than 12 miles from your front door, appreciate exploring Rodanthe Pier Place, the Salvo Day Use Area, Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, and a variety of local stores and galleries. As evening falls over the island, gather around the firepit to reminisce on all of the memories you've made thus far.

When to visit & When to book:

• Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. To find the most suitable rental within your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities.
• The earlier your group can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Property management companies typically offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection.
