CANALFRONT Avon - S. Albacore Ln. Bask in the AFTERGLOW of the gorgeous sunsets from the decks of this brightly decorated home.

With under-home storage for watersports gear and direct access to the sound from the property from the private dock, this is the ideal home for watersports enthusiasts! There are two kayaks at the home for you to use as well. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and toss some burgers on the charcoal grille after a day on the Pamlico Sound.

Unpack into one of the three bedrooms on the first level of the home with convenient laundry close by. The inviting hot tub is found on the first level covered deck, with of course a charming water view.

The top level great room features vaulted ceilings and blue water vistas through the many windows. Gather in front of the huge flat screen TV while the cooks whip up dinner in the close by kitchen.

Savor your choice of eateries and shopping in the village of Avon and bicycle along with multi-use path.

Dogs are welcome for a fee of $200/dog/week.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the $200 weekly fee will apply for each dog and will be added once your reservation is finalized.

Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. Getting the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. To get the most suitable rental for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at Hatteras restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget anything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
