Bring the whole family to this great place with tons of room for fun. Walk, 4X4 or bicycle to the beach. Unwind in the back yard, while fishing in the inlet. The home features a enormous kitchen. Ideal for preparing meals to savor on the screened in porch. The dinner time sunsets are sure to please. You may even be paid a visit by the resident deer and pelicans. The kids will appreciate finding fresh deer tracks in the sand under the home in the morning. There are plenty of eateries close by.
This freshly modernized home was finished in July of 2024. Located on a peaceful canal which leads to the Pamlico Sound. The ideal location for fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking and boating. Kayaks, paddle boards and life jackets are all available under the home. Fishing behind the home will provide hours of entertainment for the kids. Fresh bait is available next door at the tackle shop. The home offers pretty indoor and outdoors showers, full kitchen, WiFi and sizable screen TV's in the living room and two master bedrooms. The screened in porch is ideal for family dinners. There is a huge picnic table in the screened in porch and also on the back deck. The kids room has a bunkbed with a queen bottom and twin top. The huge kitchen is ideal for numerous cooks in the kitchen. The giant living room with tons of comfortable seating, is sure provide cozy, sunburned movie nights.
Be sure to plan your evening activities around the sunsets. The beautiful sunsets will set the mood for the remainder of the evening.
Beach access from the property is extremely convenient. If you own a 4x4 car, we are 200 yards from the Billy Mitchell Beach Access Ramp. If you don't have 4x4, not a problem. We have walk up access, parking, showers and bathrooms one mile from the home. A little further down the road is Sandy Bay. Which offers parking and beach access to Pamlico Sound. Ideal for kite-boarders and windsurfers. Sandy Bay is one of the best kite and wind surfing spots in the world. Second only to Maui.
We have numerous incredible eateries located within a few miles of the home. You won't find fresher seafood and sushi anywhere on the East Coast. The fishing on Cape Hatteras Island is world class. We are 5 miles from Teaches Lair and Oden's Dock. Oregon Inlet is 45 mins. north. The home is the ideal location to catch charter boat trips. If you aren't up for off-shore fishing. Catch one of the many in-shore charters in the Pamlico Sound. Boat units are also available at Oden's Dock. Cape Hatteras also offers the best beach fishing in the country. For less adventuresome visitors, discover shell hunting on the beach and southern end of the island.
