2023 Renovation! Roomy 2 bedroom ( one bedroom is a loft), 2 bathroom condo. Cozy, comfortable family area for TV and games. View some of the best sunsets on Hatteras Island while appreciating beverages on the roomy new deck after a day at the beach. We have a king bedroom with a private full bath and the second bedroom is a second floor loft with 2 twin beds! It is a short 4 min. walk to the beach. Ideal for a family of 4 , or 2 couples. Walking distance to great eateries, ice cream and stores. Less than an mile to the Avon fishing pier. Swimming and Tennis supplied at the Kinnakeet Shores pool, tennis and pickleball courts, located 2 miles south in the Kinnakeet Shores neighborhood, located behind the Food Lion.
We are often told that the photos do not do the condo justice.
The dock is privately owned. It is great to look at, but it is not available for us to use. There is a boat ramp on property to launch kayaks.
We are a Saturday to Saturday rental from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. 3 nighttime minimum during the off-season.

About the Area

Located in Avon, this condo is on the waterfront. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Outer Banks Beaches and Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Ocean Air Sports and Hatteras Island Boardsports are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
