Fly Away to this gorgeously furnished and decorated sound side home with all the amenities your family could ask for during your Hatteras Island vacation. Everyone will have plenty of room in the six main bedrooms, each offering a TV, Netflix, and DVD player, and six bathrooms all with wall-mounted hair dryers. Parlor on the deck furnishings and admire the palms, oleanders, and charmingly landscaped yard as the kids splash in the private pool. Furnished sundecks also offer great relaxation time as you savor the serenity of your vacation with a book and a cold glass of sweet tea.

Step inside to the game room with pool table, game console with 60 games, chess table, 42-inch HD home theater system, and wet bar with refrigerator and microwave. Nearby is a bunk bedroom and 26-inch LCD TV. There are iPod docking stations in every bedroom, the great room, and the game room. All T.V.s throughout the home provide DIRECTV service and Netflix streaming. Level two offers four main bedrooms, all with 22-inch or bigger LCD TV/DVDs and Blu-ray players. The roomy top level features a gas log fireplace and a huge calming area to appreciate the home theater system with a 50-inch plasma HDTV, surround sound, HD upgrade DVD player, and Blu-ray player with streaming Netflix movies. An LP turntable in the living room entertainment system for your enjoyment! Some old records are available. If you have LPs in your music collection, bring some to listen to on Fly Away's sound system.

Step outside and enjoy the sound vistas that stretch all the way to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. The kids will enjoy the basketball goal, while the anglers in your group will appreciate the fish cleaning table, and at the end of the day, prepare their catch on the gas grille. Savor the outdoor Ping-Pong table under the covered carport along with the seven-person hot tub. Electric car owners will be thrilled to learn an EV charger is available to use at your leisure. The elevator in the home offers access to all floors for additional convenience. Wireless high-speed internet is supplied, as well as complimentary long-distance calling. Dinners are a breeze in the enormous, well-equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances and two dishwashers. After a full day of fun, there are double-stacked washer/dryer sets available for all your laundry needs.

The top-level main suite has 32-inch LCD TV and Blu-ray player with streaming Netflix movies, an office desk area for computing privacy, a sitting area, a tile shower, and a separate soaking tub. The intelligent TV access here offers complimentary movies, music, and internet content. Fantastic, unobstructed starry nights are best adored from the top deck, which also offers vistas of the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. You can also enjoy hanging out at the Kinnakeet Shores Sound side Pool and Tennis Club, and a breathtaking community boardwalk to the sound right next door.

  • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best properties are booked very early. Booking your vacation rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
