Unwind in the comfortable seating, stream your favorite show, and savor being in impressive Hatteras Island. Ample seating can be found on the top level of the home, from the six-person dining table to the three-person breakfast bar. Gather everybody together for a meal made in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. A half bath is located on this floor for your convenience. When the day turns to nighttime, catch the sunset from the screen porch with lighting and seating for six or relax in the bubbly hot tub. Get the most from your rental budget:
- Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. Booking in the Spring or Fall is a good way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your family qualifies for a special rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses.
