SEMI-OCEANFRONT Avon — Wahoo Cir. — With their striking black and white plumage, upturned bills and long legs, the avocet shorebird finds its habitat along the Hatteras coast rather hospitable. The home’s location at the end of a cul-de-sac provides a peaceful and uncrowded setting for your island hideaway. The boardwalk to the beach is right across the street and two outdoor showers make freshening up after a day in the sun a breeze. As for those breezes, you’ll adore the way they drift across the open decks and into the home’s bedrooms as you drift off to sleep at nighttime. Three of those bedrooms are located on the second level: two queen bedrooms, each with direct access to a deck, one featuring a TV, and a pyramid bunk room featuring private access to the hallway bathroom shared by all three bedrooms. The fourth bedroom, a king, is located on the third level and features a TV, a freshly remodeled bathroom and access to a private deck. A lower-level den featuring a futon, TV and a newly modernized half-bath provides additional sleeping options.

The bright and airy third level great room brings the colors of the beach inside for a delightfully calming ambiance. Find yourself sipping your coffee at the freshly refreshed kitchen’s wrap-around counter or outside on the deck to catch the sun rising over the horizon.
