Everyone, including up to two welcome dogs who will savor the fenced in yard, can eagerly claim a favorite spot in this three-bedroom/two-bathroom home located on a cavernous corner lot. The kids will adore the private pool; the adults, the adjacent tiki bar or a six-person hot tub located on the deck a few steps above. Also on the ground level, an enclosed outdoor shower provides a convenient way to rinse off after a day in the sun.

On the first level you’ll discover two of the home’s bedrooms: a queen and a room with two bunk beds. There’s also a full bath on this level. The final bedroom, a king master, is located on the top level. All of the bedrooms feature Intelligent TVs. Another Intelligent TV claims a spot in the adjoining great room, a comfortably furnished space to gather the family for games, movie watching, or retelling the day’s stories. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. Getting the best rental value:

  • In the Hatteras area, The earlier your group can reserve a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are reserved early. Reserving your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Waves. To find the best rental home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
  • Often, rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area travel guides which often include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the management company and the business itself.   • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, take photos of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to drive future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review.
