Located on Frisco's peaceful oceanfront, Breakers is close to 4-wheel-drive beach access. The ground level has concrete parking, an outside shower, a carport, and super-painless ocean access. The first level has four bedrooms, two baths, and a laundry area. One bedroom is a master with a TV and DVD player. The second-story great room has a half bath, a tall cathedral ceiling, and expansive vistas of the beach. Breakers has an superb kitchen boasting a long breakfast bar and a close by dining area. Cozy furnishings and a TV will keep Frisco visitors entertained and happy after dark. A wide, south-facing sun deck with furnishings is Breakers's greatest attraction. If you want to see the beach close up, ask for Breakers!

Things to know:

About the Area

Located in Frisco, this vacation home is on the beach. Frisco Native American Museum and Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Scotch Bonnet Marina and Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts. Buxton Seafood and Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Hatteras area. To find the best value, try changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer warmer weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Re-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful time? Many rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
