Linens and towels are supplied all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep couches, top bunk beds, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are supplied. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the home sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

When to book & When to go:
- Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Winter holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- June, July, and August are high season in the Hatteras area. Booking your Hatteras vacation home in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable properties.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
- Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great information, visitor guide magazines have coupons for nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

- Choose dates and spending budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your family needs. Oceanfront, Elevator, Private Pool, Pool Table, Hot Tub has 6 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is generally available on booking pages. If they are not listed, call the property management company before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what configuration is best for your group.
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or costs applied to your invoice.
- If there's a particular Hatteras beach you simply love, search for rentals that are either nearby, or those that cater to your desires.
- Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.
Considerations for your stay:
- Get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent lots of concerns.
- Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are out, just like you would at home.
- Upon arrival, document any damages to the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors can be an excellent source for finding the best local spots.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
