Located on the top floor corner of this modern condominium complex, the three-bedroom/two-bath has everything you need to enhance your Hatteras experience in comfortable and roomy surroundings.

Wake up each morning in one of the condo’s three bedrooms — two queens with a jack-and-jill bathroom and a pyramid bunk room with access to a hallway bath — to plot out your day’s adventures. Brew a cup of coffee in the generously equipped kitchen and venture out onto the furnished balcony where the vistas from Hatteras Inlet to the point in Buxton just might provide some inspiration. All of the bedrooms feature TVs, as does the living area, which also offers a full view of the ocean. There’s an eat-at counter and an oceanview dining table with seating for up to eight for those family meals that somehow taste that much better when you are on vacation. A stacked washer and dryer is conveniently located in this unit.

Plus, savor the many amenities and community features the Durant Station condominium complex offers including a community clubhouse featuring a gathering space with a full kitchen, electric fireplace, pool table, and a TV. About the Area

Located in Hatteras, this condo is on the beach. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts and Buxton Seafood. Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf and Ocracoke Pony Pens are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

How to get the best value:

  • The sooner you can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Hatteras area. Booking your vacation home in Fall or Spring is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
