This alluring vacation home has nearly everything you could ask for including 180 degree unobstructed vistas of both the ocean and sound. Head out the front door for a fast walk to the beach or walk to the sound from your backyard. Few homes on the Outer Banks can boast such simple access to both bodies of water.
This area is known for the best surfing in the outer banks, and it’s literally right out your front door, down the driveway and across the street. After a long day at the beach, head to your pool area for more fun! Unwind in the hot tub, cool off in the sizable private pool, and let the kids splash around in the kiddie pool. A TikiBar is ready for entertaining. Near the pool you’ll find an outdoor shower with hot and cold water as well as a convenient fish cleaning table. Behind the pool area, the close by sound access provides an painless launch point for fishing, kayaking, kiteboarding , and windsurfing. The private pool is generally open from mid-May through early October. Feel complimentary to message us if you’d like to verify availability for specific dates.
The pool is open starting in March. If you would like it heated, there is a $450 charge for the week. That’s just what it costs us to run the heater.
We are literally right across the street from the beach. There are no homes there. It’s just a sand dune with a path that gets right onto the beach.
The sound is impressive and it’s literally 30 feet from the home. The sound is much calmer than the ocean and only 3-4 feet deep for about 500 yards out. It’s for paddle boarding, kayaking, wind surfing, fishing, etc.
Landshark goes above and beyond cleanliness. Did you know most rental properties only wash comforters 1-2 times a year and do not disinfect furnishings like couches and loveseats at all? At Landshark, all linens is washed and all furnishings is disinfected between stays. Instead of old bulky and gross comforters, we use quilts and plush blankets to ensure a clean and comfortable stay.
Arriving at Landshark, you’ll first notice the concrete driveway with parking for two cars underneath the carport as well as ample parking for additional cars.
Level 1:
The first floor game room offers a pool table, poker table, chess/checker table, wet bar/kitchenette, full size refrigerator with ice maker and microwave. When you need a break from the sun, appreciate the adjacent private 3D home theater room with an 80’ Intelligent Flatscreen TV with Cinema surround sound and a 3D Blu-Ray player. We provide multiple 3D movies for your enjoyment, along with a supply of 3D glasses. Two bedrooms, one queen and the other with two sets of bunk beds, double bottom bunk and top twin bunk and a Jack-n-Jill bathroom. (Ideal room for a family with kids.) The queen bedroom is also handicap accessible.
Level 2
The second floor has three king bedrooms, each with a private bath, as well as the additional room with sleeper couch, a TV and PS3 video game system. PS3 games are not supplied.
Level 3
The top floor features an impressive great room with ample seating and a fireplace. In the Living Room, there is a Lovesac sectional with a queen linens kit, so it can be used as a pullout sleep couch, and two twin pull out sleeper chairs. Pillows and linens for the sleep couches are also available. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, tile floors, granite countertops, bespoke cabinets, and a breakfast bar for additional seating. Just a few steps up from the great room is the home office, highest room in the home, with a work station (bring your laptops). There is high speed WiFi and Intelligent TVs throughout the home. The master king bedroom suite is also found on the top floor.
Linens are supplied for every bed. Additional linens are available in the bedroom closets. Bath towel sets are also included for each bathroom. If your occupancy exceeds 16, you can rent additional high quality linens and towel sets at a reasonable cost, or bring your own from home.
The location of this home accepts you great privacy, but is still close to stores and eateries, charter fishing, the Ocracoke Ferry Terminal, the Hatteras Village, and Frisco.
Each bedroom has a sliding door out to a enormous, private deck with exceptional vistas of the sound or ocean.

Mini-vacations, of at least three days, are available during the off, and shoulder, seasons. Also, units do not have to start on Saturday in the off seasons, and we have more flexibility to tailor the stay to your schedule during those times.

Located in Hatteras, this vacation home is on the beach. Outer Banks Beaches and Buxton Woods Coastal Preserve reflect the area's natural beauty and area attractions include Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Frisco Native American Museum.
