Casa Creekside is a cozy two bedroom home that sits on the back of a residential cul-de-sac and is adjacent Mill Creek, which is directly accessible to the Pamlico Sound. Only two blocks to the ocean, it sleeps 4-5 and features outdoor living amenities like two private upstairs decks and a hot tub overlooking the creek.
The ocean is a short 5 min. walk directly across the street, with a public boardwalk leading the way over the charming double dunes. The yard is landscaped and lined with locust trees on the south and Russian olives and oleanders to the north. On the back of the home near the creek, live oaks thrive giving you privacy like non other while appreciating a soak in your private hot tub. There is Wi-Fi in the home, and TV equipped with a Roku stick for streaming TV such as YouTube & Netflix etc. The ocean is a short 5 min. walk directly across the street, with a public boardwalk leading the way over the impressive double dunes.
Savor the entire home with access to the creekside hot tub, decks, outdoor shower with sink and toilet, and much more! Set up your cornhole boards or toss the baseball in any part of the yard you like. There is an owner storage unit below where I store cleaning and housekeeping items.
I also provide two bicycles so you can be sure to make the most out of your time in Avon. Hit the beach right across the street and then take an evening cruise to catch the sunset! I try to provide my guests with the things I myself savor here in Avon!

Tips to get the perfect Avon rental home experience:

How to get the best value:

  • Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer rentals during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is a good way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites frequently offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Look for your local Hatteras area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guides contain coupons for nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

How to pick the best rental in Avon:

  • Choose a group leader, choose your dates, and select a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Casa Creekside w\/ hot tub and bikes! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is normally accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, reach out to the property management company before booking the vacation home. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask the property manager before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges might be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's an individual Hatteras attraction you long to visit, search for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental

During your stay:

  • Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents many problems.
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would back home.
  • To ensure that no damages are linked to your family's stay, inspect for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the property manager right away to record any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You will enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are an incredible resource to find the best local attractions.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental property and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
