Casa Creekside is a cozy two bedroom home that sits on the back of a residential cul-de-sac and is adjacent Mill Creek, which is directly accessible to the Pamlico Sound. Only two blocks to the ocean, it sleeps 4-5 and features outdoor living amenities like two private upstairs decks and a hot tub overlooking the creek.
The ocean is a short 5 min. walk directly across the street, with a public boardwalk leading the way over the beautiful double dunes. The yard is landscaped and lined with locust trees on the south and Russian olives and oleanders to the north. On the back of the home near the creek, live oaks thrive giving you privacy like non other while appreciating a soak in your private hot tub. There is Wi-Fi in the home, and TV equipped with a Roku stick for streaming TV such as YouTube & Netflix etc. The ocean is a short 5 min. walk directly across the street, with a public boardwalk leading the way over the striking double dunes.
Savor the entire home with access to the creekside hot tub, decks, outdoor shower with sink and toilet, and much more! Set up your cornhole boards or toss the baseball in any part of the yard you like. There is an owner storage unit below where I store cleaning and housekeeping items.

Tips and Tricks to get the optimal Hatteras rental home experience:
Getting the most from your vacation rental budget:
- Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
- Summer is the most expensive season in Avon. To find the best value, change your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
- Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
- Booking websites frequently offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine upon arrival. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guides contain coupons for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.
Use filters to search efficiently:
- First and foremost, have your group agree to trip dates and a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Casa Creekside w\/ hot tub and bikes! has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is commonly available on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you book the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
- If your group is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly property. Request details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
- Looking for special amenities? Most websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .
During your stay:
- Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the instructions to your phone, and take a printed backup.

- Lock your vacation home while you are out and about. Protect your property!
- To make sure damages are not linked to your visit, note any problem areas when you arrive. Make contact with the property manager immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be helpful.
- Be a good neighbor. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
- Double-check the vacation property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
