OCEANFRONT Avon - Croaker Ct - KINNAKEET RETREAT provides the best of both oceanfront convenience with great value! Walk directly from the home over the dune to the beach and appreciate a day of sun and surf. Return to a invigorating rinse int he outdoor shower and clean the catch of the day at the outside fish cleaning table. Toss the towels and swimsuits in the washer/dryer on your way into the home and relax in front of the sizable screen TV while smelling the outstanding aromas created by the chef in the family in the close by kitchen. Eat at the dining table or adjacent breakfast bar, both with ocean vistas. Step out onto the sun deck to soak in some rays or gaze at the stars, or relax in the bubbly 6-person hot tub with oceanfront vistas. When it's time to retire for the evening, select from 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds or 2 bedrooms with queen beds. One queen bedroom has a private master bath.   • In the Hatteras area, The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Booking your vacation home six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental home.
  • Summer time is high season in Avon. Booking in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your vacation home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties.
  • Owners sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Booking websites frequently offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses.   • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected everything. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
