Kick your shoes off on the sandy beach with plenty of room to launch and land all your kites. The owner hand-picked this rare location with kiters and sound lovers in mind. With this private sandy beach, you no longer have to worry about the congestion of public kite spots, dangerous high bulkheads, thick grassy shorelines, or travel. The best kite beach on the Outer Banks is now your backyard. Watch friends throw their favorite tricks or take marvelous still shots right from one of the many decks or pool area. When you’re done with your session, store your gear in the gear closet or leave it on the beach. Stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, and beach gear are also supplied to make your experience the most memorable of the year!

Unwind pool side and mix up your favorite drink at the tiki bar with a mini refrigerator and listen to the music on the whole-home music system.

The fun can be had inside as well. Challenge your friends to a game of pool in the game room or let the foodie friend set up the breakfast nook full of ideal vacation snacks. Once the games have been won, relax in the media room and stream your favorite movie.

Check out the first level with three master bedrooms, two master king bedroom suites with private attached baths and one bunk room, also with a private attached bath). Appreciate the full-kitchen on this level or take the elevator for a fast ride to the next level.

The third level is the heart of the home. The two final master king suites are on this level, each with private attached baths. Make spectacular meals in the enormous open kitchen. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-returnable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You'll need to work out what bed configuration is best for your family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or may be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a specific Hatteras attraction you are crazy about, search for properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your needs.

  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
