The Tree House offers broad ocean vistas from nearly every room - ideal for a charming hideaway, fun with friends, multi-family gatherings, big and little kids alike. Thoughtfully refreshed in 2021, this comfortable island treasure features all-new paint, decor, and appliances. The redesign creates a clean and fresh feel while maintaining the home's historic appeal.

Located on a private cul-de-sac with simple beach access - put on your suit, grab a towel, and you'll be on the beach in mins.. Pick up your favorite carry-out meal from a variety of alluring local eateries or prepare your fresh catch on the gas range. The kitchen is well-equipped with all a chef's needs including extras like a toaster oven and a enormous griddle for pancakes.

Savor vistas of the sunset over the sound from the wrap-around porch while sharing your meal with friends or family. The covered area under the home contains a fish cleaning station, an outdoor shower, and a separate hose for cleaning off the day's fun. There is also plenty of room for kids to play on rainy days in the shaded, sandy area under the home. Spend your evenings watching shows on the 42' intelligent TV. The high-speed internet accepts multiple people to stream at the same time. Peruse a collection of puzzles, games, and books for all ages in the entertainment center.

The Avon Pier is located just over a mile north and is a great destination for morning walks. The convenient sound-side access at Haulover, just 2 miles south and offers a completely different water experience with shallow, calm waters ideal for modest kids and adventures like kitesurfing. The Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is 10 mins. south and the oscillating light can even be seen from the south side deck.

The community pool is the Club Hatteras pool at 41156 NC Hwy 12 Avon.
Towels and sheets are included (all beds are made and ready for your arrival). Note: single bed sheets (for the upper bunk beds and daybed) are supplied but the beds are not made.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 2 cars.
