There is something for everybody - excellent ocean beaches, a dip in the 13' x 27' private saltwater pool or hot tub, a game of pool in the game room with wet bar and refrigerator, or a movie in the comfortable great room with a 32-inch TV. The great room also has surround sound and a gas fireplace for cool nights.

The kids will savor the Playstation 2 games in their room. The family can walk or bicycle to the ice cream shop, or you can stay behind for some peaceful time to relax and read a book in the hammock.

Savor gorgeous ocean and sound vistas, especially from the fourth-floor loft. Two main bedrooms with private decks and two additional bedrooms offer restful places to catch a few winks. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Hatteras attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer.
• Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
• Property management companies typically offer customers an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gas expenses. • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
