This bungalow is offering up its studio apartment, for your enjoyment. The studio apartment has one queen bed and a sleeper couch, newly remodeled kitchen and refreshed designer bathroom. This unit sleeps 2 (or up to 4 using the sleeper couch) and has a entirely outfitted kitchen, TV, DVD player, stereo, and access to a washer and dryer (on the property) as well as access to the huge deck, with a hot tub and grille. Booking the best vacation home experience:
How to get the best rental home value:
- June, July, and August are the most expensive months along the coast of NC. To find the best value, consider changing your family's Hatteras vacation dates to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer great weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
- In the Hatteras area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
- Some owners offer discounts for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
- Property managers typically offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for additional information.
- Find a copy of your local Hatteras visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, travel guides contain coupons for local tours, shops, and attractions.
Narrow your rental Search:
- First, have your group choose vacation dates and a max budget.
- Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Cozy Studio Oceanside Hatteras Village has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is regularly available online. If you don't see them listed, email the host before booking the property. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms.
- If there's a certain Hatteras destination you are crazy about, keep an eye out for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
- Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for those with limited mobility. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
- Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or applied to your contract.
Advice for a wonderful stay:
- Store the manager's information in your smartphone.
- Upon arrival, make note of any damages to the property and immediately contact the owner. Keep records of all coorespondence.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of difficulties.
- Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local spots.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Lock your rental property while you are away! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
- Just prior to departing, take a final walk-through to make sure you did not leave anything behind. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
- Walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
- Did your family have a excellent vacation? Many rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
