Welcome to Relaxing Ocean Wynnes at Villas of Hatteras Landing by KEES Vacations
Rarely do getaways have a smaller hideaway constructed into them, but that's exactly what you will find at Hatteras. While the Outer Banks is a place overflowing with culture and history, this village - located after driving down the sometimes pencil-thin straights of Highway 12 - is at the very bottom of Hatteras Island, itself one of the south barrier islands of the OBX. This community is one of fisherman, of sea-frosted homes and independent methods for living life to the fullest, and, firmly located at the end of this community, resides the Villas of Hatteras Landing.
With a king bed and queen-sized sleeper couch, this comfortable little one-bedroom condo can accommodate up to four guests with ease. Throughout the interior, photos of sea-life have been hung to remind visitors of the nautical history that is prolific throughout the OBX and particularly prevalent in Hatteras. Flat screen TVs adorn both the living room and bedroom to allow for cozy relaxation after a great day at the beach!
The kitchen has also been outfitted to give the impression of a home-away-from-home. Dishes, cookware and silverware are included that will be enough to please the chef of any family. Happen to save some leftovers from one of the waterside grilles or delis in Hatteras? Store the meal in the refrigerator and then heat it up in the microwave or mini-oven.
Eateries are far from the only marvelous attractions found in Hatteras, however; this area never has a lack of activities to take part in! Want to learn more about its history and culture? Visit the towering Hatteras Lighthouse, or perhaps the local maritime museum which focuses on shipwrecks and the history of these storied shores. Want to get up-close and personal with the water? Take advantage of the Hatteras recreational diving scene!
There is so much more to experience around these cozy villas. Come see for yourself why Hatteras and the Outer Banks as a whole has achieved such a gorgeous reputation among beach-goers and visitors alike. We hope to see you soon!

Tips for getting the best vacation rental experience:
Money saving strategies:
- The sooner your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
- Summer months are high season in the Hatteras area. Reserving a rental home in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
- Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property managers frequently offer guests an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
- Many rental management companies supply Hatteras area travel guide magazines which include coupons, either offered independently by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras area magazine and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.
Planning, picking, and booking the perfectvacation home:
- First, have your group select vacation dates and a budget.
- Note the number beds and the configuration your family needs. Relaxing Ocean Wynnes at Villas of Hatteras Landing - 1 Bedroom Near-Beach Condos with Pool Access! has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
- Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email the property manager before you book your home. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms.
- If your family is bringing pets, you'll need to find a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
- Does your group require particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
- Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available before reserving a rental.
More considerations for your visit:
- Be sure you get the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your . We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
- Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, elevator or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents lots of concerns.
- Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
- Note any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately contact the owner. We especially recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
- Be a good neighbor. Often times, nearby homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
- Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
- Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Inspect the property one final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
- Did your family have a fantastic time? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
