An Oceanside tiny home in placid Frisco. Just a short walk to the beach down serene residential road. Once a glassblowing studio, the home was completely refreshed in March 2020. A new, clean, functional, special, space.

Quite cavernous for a "tiny home", the high ceilings and many windows make calming a joy. And the outside brick deck and yard space are great for appreciating Hatteras Island's wild serenity.

About the Area

Frisco is home to this cottage. Scotch Bonnet Marina and Frisco Mini Golf and Go Karts are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit Frisco Native American Museum and Buxton Seafood. Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum and Uncle Eddy's Frozen Custard and 18-Hole Mini Golf are also worth visiting.

How to book the best Frisco vacation rental experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • To book the most suitable rental home within your budget, we suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some hosts offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Hatteras area visitors guides which often include coupons, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Hatteras visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Planning, picking, and booking a perfectvacation home:

  • First, have your group commit to trip dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and the bed configuration you need. Oceanside Tiny House in Beautiful Frisco has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is regularly available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, contact the property manager before you book the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for those with limited mobility. .
  • Some rentals allow pets, and others don't. Acceptable types of family pet, size and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.

Have a great stay:

  • Get the host's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
  • Document any damages to the property at check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a fantastic resource to find the best local spots.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Lock your rental property while you're away! Don't let thieves spoil your vacation.
  • When it's time to leave, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget any personal items. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We advise inspecting the property with the property manager whenever possible. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did you have a excellent time? Many rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
