Located in south Hatteras, Teach's Lair is a full service marina which includes a large Ship’s Store and The Roost Bait and Tackle Shop.The store is stocked full with just about anything you’ll need during your fishing trip or Outer Banks vacation. Along with fishing and boating supplies, the shelves and racks carry lots of T-shirts - short and long-sleeved - hats, sunglasses, cozies and convenience-store grocery items - including a large selection of snacks and drinks.“The Roost” Bait and Tackle Shop section of the store is filled with tackle, bait, fishing/crabbing nets and a huge variety of fishing rods for sale or rent - for boat, pier or surf fishing. Coolers and other essential supplies are of course for sale as well. Teach’s Lair Marina and Ship’s Store also does fishing rod repairs and promises to have whatever you’re looking for, whether your :interested in offshore, inshore or sound fishing - or “wreck driving or dockage for your boat.
