Come home from a day at the beach to relax on the third floor, where you'll find a sizable great room, a half-bath, and comfortable modren furnishings. Cooks will blossom in the well-appointed kitchen with a close by dining area. The second floor features a primary bedroom with access to both the front and rear sundecks, as well as two other bedrooms with access to a semi-private hallway bathroom and sundeck. The first level features a well-equipped game room with a couch bed, an entertainment center, a bathroom, a laundry area, and a bedroom with a pyramid bed.

Savor the private pool while creating vacation memories, all in the privacy of your vacation home. Enduring Freedom has ample decking for outdoor festivities, as well as foosball, intelligent Roku TV’s, and an outdoor basketball hoop for your entertainment. And here at the end of a peaceful Kinnakeet Shores cul-de-sac, you'll be close to Club Hatteras activities and within walking distance of the ocean and a public beach access point.

The private pool is open seasonally from April through mid-October. Dates are subject to change.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already supplied in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to family pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is complimentary parking available for 4 cars.

About the Area

Located in Avon, this vacation home is by the sea. Studio 12 and Kinnakeet Clay Works are cultural highlights, and some of the area's attractions include Surf's Up and Avon Fishing Pier. Cost saving strategies:

• Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the best value, try shifting your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Hatteras vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host whether your family qualifies for a special rate.
• Property management companies typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
• Find a copy of your local Hatteras area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, travel guides contain offers and deals for local restaurants, attractions, and tours.

• Lock your rental home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
• To make sure that damages are not linked to your stay, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
• Respecting quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and restaurants.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
• On check-out day, complete a walk-through to make sure you did not forget anything. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your group have a fantastic time? Many rental management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was inoperable and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
