Sound Bound is sound-front living at its best! Located in Waves on one of Hatteras Island's prime windsurfing and kiteboarding tons, it is the ideal destination for watersports fanatics and those who want to bask in the seclusion and vistas surrounding this home. You are greeted on the ground level with two carports, an under-home entry, unrivaled sound access, a grassy rigging area, and a sandy beach. As you enter the first level, you will find an effortlessly accessible full hall bath and the laundry area.

The second level has four bedrooms. The first bedroom has a pyramid bed. The second bedroom has a pyramid bed, TV, and deck access. Bedrooms three and four are both primary rooms with private baths, TVs, and access to a sound-front deck. A full hall bath rounds out this level. At the top of the stairs on the third living level, an airy great room awaits. The living room is calming with a gas fireplace and impressive vistas. The kitchen with a breakfast bar is ideally arranged to make preparing meals and snacks a enjoyment. At mealtime, there is plenty of room for everybody to gather around the dining table to compare notes on the day's activities. Secure your front row seats on the deck or in the steamy hot tub each evening to catch the spectacular sunsets. A fourth-level loft with a couch bed, TV, and a deck with ocean vistas completes these cavernous accommodations.

  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses.
